Issue with transparent surfaces touching other surfaces

Is there any way to fix the issue that happens when a transparent surface touches another surface?

I've attached an image as an example, showing a piece of clothing with a transparent surface that is touching the surface of the figure wearing the clothing.

This is an Octane limitation. You need to reduce the Kernel->Ray Epsilon to resolve this, or increase the size of one of the meshes a fraction so that the vertices are further apart.

Thanks for the feedback.

I notice that when you hide an object using the Scene Menu in Daz you don't have have this issue, though this also means the whole object is not visible. However, when you hide groups of vertices using the Geometry Tool menu, it doesn't fix the issue. Would there be a way of changing it so the vertices hidden using the Geometry Tool don't cause this issue so that we could hide vertices by Face Groups, Surface Groups or Region Groups?

I don't think this would be possible - sorry. May I suggest you post a feature request in the current Octane Standalone thread for Otoy to look into the issue of nearby vertices causing artifacts.
