No GPU Detected Error

I keep getting this error from time to time. Tried earlier GPU Driver and worked. Then this morning, I get the error again. V25.0.16 Daz Plugin. Any ideas?

358.50 is no longer available. textures for room scene not rendering now wtf. ugh.

No matter what driver or plugin version I use, still getting error. I have to restart computer, then all is fine. Any ideas?

Can you pls provide all the information requested in the link in my signature. In particular, what did the Octane Log say, and did Octane Standalone work?

Tired of looking up version numbers. I just downloaded latest Nvidia Driver, Octane plug for V2 & V3. Can't see log, as Octane is not enabled when error occurs. Stand Alone works fine. I have to restart my computer everytime, then it works. Anyone else have this error?

The link in my signature is very specific......if you are having problems you need to use Nvidia driver 358.58.
I don't believe there are any other users experiencing this issue. Perhaps you are running another application which is reserving your graphics card?

I tried 358.58. driver. Still error. No other apps running. Strange that after restart computer, it is fine.
1) Start Computer
2) Start Daz Studio
3) Octane tries to activate
4) No supported GPUs error
5) Restart computer
6) Start Daz Studio
7) Octane Activates
Why would a restart clear the error from a fresh startup? Is there a way to have Octane Activated off-line?
Why would no GPU prevent Octane from activating?

I'm taking a shot in the dark here, but if you use a laptop with an integrated graphic chip and an extra NVidia card, it might be that the NVidia card isn't fully initiated after if you start your computer. It gets it's basic settings only after it's supplied with power. You don't notice this because your on the internal graphic card.
If you do a restart the NVidia card has already been supplied power and therefore can respond to the Plugin.
Try to get your computer to use the NVidia card only (maybe there's a setting in BIOS)
Just a guess, tho.
