Hi ReaperTheOne,
please, could you specify which plugin version, c4d version and hw used?
If you cannot share it, other info/screenshots about the particular scene are more than welcome, like the schene structure, nurbs objects, other plugins used ecc.
ciao beppe

Cinema 4D Studio R17 .048, Octane Plugin 2.25 R3.
Hardware:
Core i7 5820k
32 gb DDR4 RAM
GTX 980 (4 gb VRAM) just updated drivers today.

It's on default render settings, I was going to render draft sequence.

Hi
thanks for sharing more info and screenshots, even if the only thing that comes to my eyes is that the Screen.1 object doesn't have octane materials while all the other objects seems to have a correct material.
Anyway, I don't know exactly at what resolution you are working, but could you try with v3 alpha 10?

In v3 the frame buffer is no more loaded in VRAM, so there are less differences between what you have in LV compared with PV.

Why do you have 12millions triangle for a simple scene? Do you have subdivisions?
Also we can't see render info lines in you LV, don't you use it for checking the scene?

Nope, v3 does not helping. Here's the scene file, hope that will help to find the issue.

Yes, there is subdivisions, actually it's pretty high detailed models.

I do, it was hidden for some reason, sorry. It actually export scene in LV pretty fast, but in PV it's about 1:30 min before it gives me the black screen and render failure.

What's your gpu and VRAM?
I think it's not enough for 24millions polyon on Picture Viewer. Also check subdivision difference for editor vs. renderer. LV uses editor settings. Try for testing in LV with editor subdiv=3. I suppose that will give Cuda error.

It's GTX 980 and 32 gb DDR4, which needed for more then 24 milllions?

And thank you! Set the render subdivisions same as editor, now it works fine!

This is gpu renderer so primary factor is gpu's VRAM not system RAM. I see it's 4GB. But V2 has a triangle limit around 19millions. This has been removed with V3-Alpha but still limited by available gpu VRAM.
Btw plugin also requires some RAM for export process and depends to how you structured and which render settings are used.
