I've just installed an Amfeltec cluster on a Mac Pro 5.1 (El Capitan) with 2 980 ti. I've got in the mac a Titan X from macvidcards.
It works, but when one of the two, or the two 980 ti are activated in the settings of octane, the total VRAM available goes to 6Go instead of 12Go.
The two 980 Ti don't appear in the live Viewer, but all the 3 Gpu are running for process. (Octane Bench 355)

Any ideas to help me ?

Where are you looking in LV? See image to understand that where is these. VRAM usage is not like that you imagined. All gpus should contain same data. So it's limited to lowest VRAM of activated gpus.

Does it mean that i can load a heaviest (more textures) octane scene in C4D with only the Titan X than with de 3 GPU cards ?

Of course that's simple logic. You can't fit your feet to small shoes. In these cases use out-of-core. It's for TEXTURES in system RAM not VRAM.
