Simple render options/layer tool

Hi,
this script is aimed at simplify the use of render options and layer id with octane.

warning : the tool change color wireframes of objects

Movable proxy : check Movable proxy for all objects in the scene

MTL COLOR : display objects materials

OBJ COLOR : display objects colors

RDd N / RDd Y : uncheck / check renderable for selected objects

pVIS N / pVIS Y : uncheck / ckeck visible for selected objects

Csh N / Csh Y : uncheck / check cast shadows for selected objects

wireframe color is given to see in window objects options : black,red,blue,yellow and white (for default option)

Options color : show colors

01 to 10 : apply layer id to selected objects with colors corresponding to layer id colors.

layer colors : show layer colors

Thanks for this script HHBomb. Will try this asap.

I have to ask, are you using a 4K monitor? Hence the big buttons in rollout?
It would have been so nice for me to keep the UI small as possible for screen real estate.
if that's the case I wonder what we could do with our scripts when max 2017 kicks in with the new retina display like interface.

For the moment I have no plans to upgrade my octane licence to v3 because of lack of a roadmap and
I do not see a possible future where user demands and feature requests will be provided.
So I won't be spending time to update my script for v3.

But this layer ID workflow is a mess in Max I hope your script will help users to manage it effectively.

No I don't use 4K monitor, but when I am in hurry I don't want to miss a button, or push on the bad one.
My script is open, you can modify it to your need

I should add enable and disable textures
.... I don't know how to work in the script - but it would be nice to combine all into one .
but there is an error the script to show a texture map does not work when he is faced with the Shader color correct
