hi,

i have glass railing and glass window material. I don't know how to enable light through glass,
for now it seems that glass railing trace shadows like a non-transparent material ???
also, i need to hide window glass geometry to enalbe light pass into interior...???

thanks.

Tick Fake Shadows on the Specular material. Also make sure the Ray Epsilon (which is in cm I think - check the manual) is less than the thickness of the glass. Finally, make sure the IRO is set to the correct value for glass (1.3 or 1.4?).
