Is this probably the reason the server for livedb or the octane 3 browserdemo is not accessible?

Well, I need to work with the database..

Questions are:

- How long till we have all the new features of 3.x in out C4D bridge?
- Will it be possible to access the ORC directly in C4D? ORBX export cant be the way to go, especially for animations
- So wait for 3.1 till next year? And even longer for the Bridge? Bummer....

We have mostly all 3.0 features in plugin, where are you looking for?

The other interesting stuff are in 3.1

Altos Denoiser, OSL, Substance Designer plugin (will it be related to c4d?), New code for round edges and displacement (WOHAH!!), Fester mesh compiling, adaptive sampling

Those are very exciting stuff i hope will be out less then a year from now.

OSL (which Aoktar said he needs to bring in X-particles properly) looks like it won't be available till at least the 3.1 alpha, yes? Correct me please if I am wrong on this?

It can be done without OSL but requires some kind of new texture type as random texture.
