Which performance? Viewport or render? We don't have proxies, but you can use scatter object for bulk objects like grasses, trees, ...

Hi, thx for reply.
Both performances. Yes, instancing do the job as well, just checking, Vray Proxies is a great tool, just wondering if there were something similar in Octane. I will try Phantom Scatter.
Cheers !

Hi AlvaroLetelier,
the new scatter object is a new fantastic feature, but c4dOctane can also use the Render Instance option for instance objects and mograph cloners to save resources and memory, just remember to activate the option only on the first level. Eg. if you have an instance object inside a mograph cloner, active the Render Instance option only for the instance object and not for the cloner
