Which License - I'm Confused

I'm confused at what I need to purchase. I have two computers. One I work on and another I use as a render slave. What do i need to buy in order to be able to use the graphics cards from both computers. Also I use C4d.

So if I buy the C4D Plugin with the standalone...is that enough? Or do I still need to buy another standalone for the other computer?

The wording in this statement makes it sound like it comes with a slave? "Network Rendering was introduced with OctaneRender 2.0. which comes with an Octane render slave that can be run on computers with GPU’s on your LAN. Octane has the ability to scan the LAN (or subnet) for slaves and use their GPU’s."

You need combo license(Standalone+C4Dplugin) to work. It's a floating license and you can use on other computer but not same time.
If you need to work same time with Octane, you may use demo version on other computer or you need additional combo license.
But it's enough extra Standalone license for Octane network render on clients.

Okay, I'm sorry so let me make sure I'm understanding correctly. I need the combo Stand Alone/C4d plugin for my main computer. And an additional stand alone for my second (render slave only) computer?

Someone in the Octane for C4D group on FB told me that the licensing might be changing for V3. Have you guys heard this? I don't want to spend 1k on licenses only to find out that v3 comes with one render slave license etc.

Yes that's right for licences. There is some talks and rumors about changes of licensing but nothing is exact as i could get. Maybe some words about it on GTC talk.
