Front camera projection support

I know we can use front camera projection as a texture option, but is there any way to render from a different camera than the one we're projecting from? The feature loses any kind of functionality for matte painting application if you can't do a camera move without the texture changing with it. Any insight or help would be greatly appreciated, thanks!

Hi - you can, but you'll need to set this up in the Schematic. Pls see http://poserphysics.blogspot.com.au/201 ... r-for.html.

Hey, thanks for the link, but I'm finding it's not really working right.

I put the camera transform information into the perspective projection node, but the projected texture doesn't even remotely resemble what shows in the viewport. I can change and move it around with the 3D transform node connected to the RGB image, but unless it precisely matches what you can line up in the viewport, it defeats the purpose. Is it a bug or is it simply not supported?

I am not clear on exactly what you are trying to achieve. Can you post some screenshots that better explain the workflow you are aiming for pls?
