Modo Target Camera assembly not working

Hi Guys,
I have introduced a target camera into my scene, using the modo Target Camera AF assembly that is part of the content.
Octane does not seem to respect the movement of the target, so when the target is transformed the camera should rotate and should keep focus on the target.
Octane only seems to respond to direct transforms on the camera object.
Initially I though this is because the target in the orignal assembly is a locator and as such it has no Live Geo Update flag. But re-creating the assembly with the camera targeting a piece of geo with Live Geo Update activated doesn't work either.
Does anyone have a suggestion as to how this can be worked-around? Or is there something I'm missing?
I have linked to a test scene with the assembly loaded, try moving the Target locator (it's under the TargetCameraRoot), to see the behaviour I'm talking about.

EDIT: In fact any animation on locators is not being picked up by Octane, so it makes sense that the camera assembly isn't working.
