When IPR is in pause mode it still catch camera movement and try to rerender it - and everything starts to slow down.
I'll explain. It not renders it. But when you have a large scene and IPR in pause mode, every camera correction become very slow and unresponsive.

Yes, this behavior can be related to the fact that currently the rendering is in pause, but not the Octane scene update code (this is why once you release the pause button, the scene is updated to the current state).

I could add a new feature to the IPR to stop the Octane scene update: one pause button for rendering, and one pause button to scene update. Can be even useful to render something in the background while you are working in the scene without update the scene in each user action.

I will think about it for the next release.

That would be great, Thank You!
By the way, Octane for Houdini has the best support ever. Thank you for all your quick replies and efforts to develop this nice plug in.

In the next build, the IPR window will have a button to disable the IPR update, so you are going to be able to work in the scene while the IPR is rendering, but without update the Octane scene.
