Hi all,
Need to make translucence for a curtain but not so easy. I use diffuse node and play with transmission but i haven't translucency.
I specify that it is a very light curtain with a lot of transparency
Any helps please.

I'll bump this thread as I needed something similar. I was told transmission too...but it's not really translucency in my opinion. I tried medium nodes with no avail too.

Hopeing someone with some skill in surfacing can tell us both how to get good translucency. It's a must in ArchViz sometimes!

The transmission parameter of the diffuse material should be enough to get this kind of effect. What is the problem with it?

yes, i try this but with a texture image, seems doesn't ok !

I found. If you use DirectLighting with Ambient Occlusion, it does not work.
