Network Render / Syncronizing at certain times?

Hi,

I get some weird results in an animation. The scene is quite heavy and the shot in question is quite complicated.
I am rendering with 1 master and 2 clients, and the results vary very much in the noise left.
The rendering is set to 8192 samples and a time maximum of 8 minutes.

For example:
Frame 80

Frame 81

Now I just rerendered the noisy frames and I found that reaching the final samples improves the images A LOT!

Those are the same frames, I just changed the max time and rendered again:

This one rendered 8:02 minutes and then stopped at about 7400 samples because the time ran out

This one rendered 8:57 and reached 8192 samples:

The difference is huge and in my opinion not to be explained by 1/8th more of render time.

So I am wondering if some samples from the clients are lost when the rendering isn't stopped by reaching the max samples but by reaching the max time? Or if there is any other reason for this strange behaviour?

You mean I should post this in the general support section?
Can you move it please?

No need to move. But i'm not having exact answer for that. Because it has been modified for some versions and i don't use much the netrender. I can point the topic or you can directly ask to Abstrax.
