Maya xgen grass

Hi, I will start this off by saing that I want to use Octane and want to find a solution to my problem, so please help and I will make the switch.

I use Maya and recently found out about xgen ands how to populate a plane with grass that blew me off my chair. I have made grass with V-Ray and Maxwell before, but this was a new level.

I could not make this happend with Octane trial that I am trying right now. So is there any other way of doing this as nice with Octane is my simple short question?

Hi haffy,
I'm not a Maya user, but I guess that the internal plugin can easily handle this. For Standalone, you need to get the transformation matrix for each instance of each object and then save them in a .csv file or paste them directly in a scatter node, here you can find more info:
