I´ve tried to install the Demo in to different PC's with different Nvidia Cards. When I start Cinema 4D it always crashes. I tried it in the normal Plugin-folder and in the Program preset folder - but no chance, Cinema crashes. So what to do?

Same problem here. I've tried it on my Window 10 PC with C4D R17 Studio and with C4D R16 Studio. C4D always crashes. Please fix it.

Do you have latest updates of C4D as write in download sections?

yes, the latest updates of Cinema 4D and the Nvidia drivers

Meanwhile tested with R16 with the same result - Cinema crashes immediately during the initialization of the plugins.

no problem here with both R16 and R17
Please, try first with the Standalone Demo and latest Nvidia drivers. If yours GPUs are correctly listed in the viewport info bar, then right click in the gray center zone (graph editor) and create a new material node by choosing Materials/Diffuse, for example. Then click the just created node and if the render start, then your hw is ok for Octane Render.
At this point, you can try with the c4d demo with an updated version of Cinema 4D and possibly reading the Reame.txt file. If the plugin doesn't start or c4d was unexpectedly closed, probably there is a conflict with another plugin
Try removing all the other plugin and run c4d again, then you can add them one by one until you find the culprit.
It's a long time without a report of plugin conflict, but how knows, maybe in this case there is one

The standaloneversion is working and rendering. Now I need to check which other plugins won´t work with Octane.

just uninstalled all my plugins in c4d and installed the demoversion as the only plugin - boom - the same result c4d crashes!!!

Yes, the new files fixed the problems. Now I can work with the demo.
