C4d installation on mac

So Ive downloaded and installed standalone. Opened the Octane-for-C4D and deleted all other files except for c4dOctane_R16_demo.dylib now where does this file go?

Ok so its not working, I've checked everything and followed a few posts. Is there someone i could talk to to help take me through this from the top!

your C4D version is too old, please update your Cinema 4D to latest version (16.050)

This worked for me. I was beginning to get frustrated. Either I missed this note in the installation manual or it should be added.bepeg4d wrote:Hi,

It didn't work for me. I have the newest version of R16 & R17 and neither work with the demo.
Any help?
