Policy about upgrade to next (?) v3 version

Hi
I purchased (like everyone else) a beta 2.xx version that has never left the beta phase and that has never been productive (there are dozens of posts that confirm that I am not the only one to say these things).
Now it seems that the development will resume on the forthcoming version 3.

The question is:
what is the policy Otoy for the upgrade of plugin?
The beta of version 3 will be free for users of version 2 or we will have to pay for a product that is never productive and never out of beta stage?

thanks
mirko

Captain will be wrapping up 2.24 for final release before the V3 update.

Sorry Goldorak
but today I received an offer to upgrade to version 3 octane for sketchup for 49$

I think the version 2 is never out of beta stage and is still plagued by several problems that make it unsuitable for production.
In otoy are you really convinced that the upgrade policy that you adopted for the other plugins is also valid for the SketchUp users?
