Anyone know if this shows all 6 gig usable or 12 Gig in Octane?

GeForce GTX Titan X
12Gb, it's Single Chip GPU so it's 12GB available in total.

Just keep in mind that for rendering purposes with multiple GPUs in Octane/OcDS, you will have available VRAM reduced to the lowest card amount . So, if you had 1 Titan X (12GB) and 1 Titan Z (6GB), you would only be able to use 6 GB of VRAM from both cards. If you had 2 Titan X's, you would have all 12GB available. Likewise, you could have 6 Titan X and 1 Z, and you would only have 6 GB VRAM available.

yes, but to be clear... In this example you will have only the lowest VRAM available when wanting to use all cards for scenes lower then 6gb, but you will always be able to use the 12GB VRAM for rendering scenes larger then 6gB using only the Titan X for rendering.

Not to be overkill on the topic, but let me be overkill for a moment- also if considering adding an X, and if you have a card with less VRAM than the Titan X, you have the option to also decide how you want you arrange the Titan X in the mix; either as primary display GPU with rendering duties also, or as a secondary GPU with render-only duties (thus maximizing the X as a render device). You could opt to set the older lower VRAM card as a display only device for this purpose.

Albeit, I think that anyone with an X will agree with me that even with X as a primary display GPU, it rocks when also used in rendering duties. This could actually be preferred in situations where the X's power will be preferred to be used in other applications outside of Octane.

Yep got it guys thanks, I actually went with a 4X 980 6 Gig cards, teh Titan X all be it lots more RAM was not much better in terms of all the other specs e.f. GPUs and performance. I dont think I need 12 gig for sceans, I only went over my current Titan Black once with 5 characters and a ton of props in a scene :)
