Unable to initialize Live DB

I'm having intermittent issue with initializing live DB sometimes, what is causing that
anyone have an idea? Thanks

Most likely you had an internet issue when the plugin was first started, so it could not authenticate. Does it happen with just one scene, or any?

It happens intermittently, sometimes it works sometimes it doesn't... :/

When it next happens - can you pls save your scene exit Poser, restart Poser, load the scene, start the plugin and try to access the LiveDb, and let me kno if that works or not (I need to understand if it's reproduce-able with certain scenes or not).

I am trying to determine if it is the scene you are loading that is causing the issue. Does the LiveDb always work on the Default Andy scene and never work on the scene that failed above? Keep in mind that the LiveDb is activated when you first open the plugin after starting Poser.

I'm starting to think it's my internet connection. because it has nothing to do with poser and octane it seems. I am in europe now, Poland
and to be able to use certain services i require, im using ExpressVPN service that makes me appear that im still in Chicago... im thinking that
could be it, but the problem is after i installed the program when i disconnect from vpn my DNS doesnt work... and i cant access the web.
Skype still works then... Then still when connected to VPN Everything works normally, xcept Octane LiveDB :/. I'm unable to determine
wether it stopped working after i installed the VPN service or it doesnt have anything to do with it.
[EDIT] i uninstalled the ExpressVPN and it still doesnt work... So internet works, no custom settings to DNS servers, poser added to firewall
exceptions, and it still doesnt work... :/
And no, no matter what scene is loaded, even empty scene, it doesnt work.

Does the Octane Standalone LiveDB work?

I never used stanalone octane and dont even know where live DB is lol

Well your options are to a) install and learn a little about Octane Standalone and report the LiveDB issue to Otoy in the Octane Standalone thread, or b) accept that the LiveDB will not work for you. The LiveDB issue is not specific to the Poser plugin - it's a general issue with either Octane Standalone or your VPN setup, so it is out of the scope of what I can help you with - you'll need to seek help from the Otoy devs.
