Allocating memory

Hey guys,

i was wondering if you can take a look at my settings to see if they look about right. I have two GTX 980 cards, one for my system and one for Octane. Although the card
has 4095 mb's, only 106 mb's seem to be used and my renders are taking a really long time. Is there a way i can allocate more memory or speed things up
at all?

Thanks for your help.

There is not any visible impact by memory. Big impact is your settings. This is not a traditional biased renderer, it's an unbiased renderer. So it calculates every pixels by path tracing. See ways to tweak materials, lighting, kernel parameters.

As already said by aoktar, memory does not speed up the rendering in any renderer, just give you the ability to handle more objects , materials, lights, simulations, high render resolution and so on. But there is something weird in your VRAM info, what is your system?
Have you disabled the SLI Multi GPU option in the Nvidia control panel?
