Hello Paul,

I do not know if this is possible, but it would be very nice to have the the possibility to modify the clay override material, e.g. in order to use an inverted dirt material for line display. Since I believe a defined material is already used to override the others it could be enough to make it accessible to the user e.g. when naming a material "clay-override" this material will be used as the override material...

Hi Andreas - the clay material is controlled inside Octane - and not accessible for edited by users. If you need to customise the clay material - I suggest creating your own clay material and applying it to all geometry in the scene. You would need to be careful to not save the file and loose all your material assignments doing this.

yes, that is exactly what I am doing at the moment... never mind it is not so important...
