Sliders for displacement options height ..

If you enter a Displacement value that is too big, you crash Octane. So having an easy way for users to enter large values (like a slider) will lead to me getting a lot of crash reports from McNeel. So I am unwilling to change the Displacement Offset and Height controls - sorry.Logarithmic sliders could be cool. Also I would like if manual user inputs larger than the slider range would be accept.
I had a look at this. 0.01 is OK for some sliders, but not others. For example, ray epsilon will not be of any use if the highest granularity is 0.01. The "tick" amount would depend on the min and max amount of the pin - so you would need to offer some more detailed rules as to how you would like this to work. In particular, logarithmic sliders need a very high granularity. I couldn't find a single pin which had 6 decimal places like your example of "0,517635".About sliders in general - is it possible to implement some quantisation for sliders so they step by some value - I think 0,01 would be ok - especially when clicked on the slider bar (not the handle) - it would be nice substitute for + and - buttons. (except for ray epsilon slider - this one needs super low values so no quantisation needed there).
I know that it may have no particular reason but seeing values like 0,517635 releases my deeply hidden OCDand usually I need to adjust some value by a certain fraction - like 0,01 - without clicking input field and without moving my hand from mouse to keypad since I am focused on the image and it's looks.
