I have a couple of Questions:

First, I'm using Cinema 4D R17 Studio on Windows 10
GK: Asus Strix GTX 980Ti
RAM: 64 GB

Is this a good configuration for using Octane?

and 2nd Question:

I will purchase today the Combo: OctaneRender™ for Maxon Cinema 4D v2.x + Standalone Combo v2.x License

when i do this - is then the in the coming Days upcoming update to Version 3 free for me or not?

hi kmag, the c4d plugin version 2.24.2 that supports r17 is still in a test phase (viewtopic.php?f=85&t=50620). when it becomes stable, a demo version is usually also released.
there is an upgrade cost to v3, but then the price of v3 itself will most likely be the price of v2 + the upgrade.
