- exercise in lights and geometry, I'm guessing 129 000 000 polys is a bit of an overload - around 500 mb in octane's Vram
- I would love to just have geometry loaded in octane and use it instead of default viewport cause it's faster rendering than the 3d max viewport with high polycount - it's so incredibly slower than octane
- PT core, 4x4k, fast render but incredibly heavy to work with, had to pause the render to make any change, and the primary GPU wasn't used for processing.. what gives.. 3dsmax refuses to handle huge polycount efficiently - instanced a lot of geometry from zbrush.. 30 min render.. but a pain in the ass to move around and tweak

This is the point where to use Octane Proxies....
Beautiful work!

thanks

- yeah, proxies - honestly even forgot about them, since I was trying to make this as quick as possible, focusing on getting the shot, sometimes things just get over complicated s you loose time trying to make it faster - I did that so many times that I just plow through with whatever I got
- also started to clone that geometry that it would probably break something - this is always a prototype that quickly turns into a finished piece
