Universal Proxy Support

Hey Octaner's
I Did a little digging but couldn't find a clear answer on this... Is there a standardized Proxy format to pass things like geo(static or anim) and shaders between all of the plugins ? Like arnold ass files. I know there is orbx and ocs, but do all the plugins support importing/referencing this ?
Here is a scenario i have in mind..
Assets being lookdev'd in maya/octane or modo/octane , then published to proxy file.
Proxies are imported into Houdini /octane for final layout and render.
If there was standardized support for this across the board the pipeline simplification would be nice.

At a glance it seems the nuke plugin offer the best "End of the pipeline" solution to this desired workflow. Hope to test asap and share my experience.
