Character animation and Render layer

Hi, I would like to render character animation - my character changing positions only if I set Geometry engine on "Resend all scene data".
I would like to render it as a layer but it works only if i set Geometry engine on "Resend only updated object" but then my character doesn't move.
Is there any way how to resolve it? Thank You.

It's not expected behaviour. Maybe a ignorance due hypernurbs or so. Can i see something about your scene?

I tried switch Hypernurbs to off but still the same. My character is moving only if I set Geometry engine on "Resend all scene data".

Have you had object tag over geometry? Is it moving in LV? Ex. when i tried some character scenes from library, they works well.

I created character object and then put geometry objects under bones. For some reasons I can't used binding etc. I know, It is not very typically but In LV it works very well.
I tried put object tags to every object in my character hierarchy but still with no success.

Theoretically it should work if it's fine in LV. As a workaround try to force updates.Maybe animate something on these objects or put a irrelevant tag and animate. I can check that if you share that.

I have had no issues with character animation and Octane, with the exception of hair and motion blur (since fixed, but yet to be in general release). My character uses SubDs, and I have one Octane object tag at the very top of the hierarchy, with motion blur set to transform/vertex. Works great! My render settings is set to Manual Assignment (the tag takes care of that.) But Auto Detect has worked well for me also, though I understand that requires more overhead than Manual Assignment.
