Sometimes I'd like to watch a movie when rendering etc ... and I try to disable one of the three GPUs in blender for Octane ... but how do I know which one, so my movie runs flawless? I seem to get irritations whatever GPU I deactivate for octane?

It would be really nice to have this information in the plugin, maybe as a tooltip? As far as I can tell the order of the checkboxes is the same as the GPU order in the standalone preferences.

It would be nice if there was specific feedback as to which GPU was active from the tick boxes. But a simple way of determining that is just to click one box, start a render, and then use HWmonitor (if on a Mac) or EVGA Precision (if on Win) to see which GPU starts increasing fan and temps.

.. I can tell pretty clearly by how shitty the system performs, and disable gpu coreuntil it works.. and after that remember which is which..
- OK a stupid system, there should have been some better way to determine that

grimm that seems not to be the case on my system. For me, with my two cards, the first tick box in the Blender plug-in matches the second tick box in standalone. At the moment I am running one GTX 770 and one 780 (my other GTX 780 has been RMA'd for service). So I can easily see which is which by the Ms/sec count as the 780 is of course faster.

I only have two cards so I probably got lucky.
