Standalone 2.24 Crashing on launch - C4D plugin not loading
Posted: Tue Sep 08, 2015 6:53 pm
Hey Guys,
I am forced to put this on the Demo forum, as my IT manager purchased our Octane license, and don't have access to his credentials to log into the proper forum (a VERY frustrating limitation FWIW).
Anyway... we just purchased the standalone/c4d plugin combo, and right out of the gate, I am having issues.
The Standalone throws up a crash dialogue immediately upon any attempt to launch it, and the C4D plugin is not showing up at all... I am hoping the 2 issues are related, but suffice it to say, this is not an auspicious start.
Being that I see no option to create a signature, here are the details of my system:
MacBook Pro (11,3) - Late 2013, 2.3GHz Core i7 / 16GB DDR3 / NVIDIA GeForce GT 750M 2048 MB (we have purchased an eGPU setup for this, with a GTX 980 ti but have not assembled or installed it yet).
And, here is the text of the crash report:
