Mix material by slope & height

Hi there,

I'm trying to use octane materials to make landscapes (as its so good at rendering from carbon scatter) and was wondering if there is any way to filter a mix material by slope and height similar to Cinema's built in terrain shader? I tried using that but it doesn't work. It almost does but its on the wrong axis and cannot be changed.
I'd like to be able to make landscapes that transition from grass to rock to snow etc based on height & slope..

Many thanks,
Roger

We don't support a texture dependent on the slope at the moment.

The height is not directly supported, but you can approximate by using a saw wave and rotating it 90° around the Z axis so it varies along the Y direction. Increase the scale to give it a large wavelength.

So I figured out a hack to do this. Once I have finished creating my landscape shape I use a C4D Terrain shader to create a black & white slope map to my liking, then use a bake texture tag to create an image file that I can then use as a mask in an Octane mix texture. Bit of a long winded work-around but it works perfectly.
