VGA Graphic Card for Monitor

My GTX 690 is my only video source. If I buy a $15 PCI video card, VGA connection (only slot left) and use for monitor, will I still see the same results of Octane render quality?

sure but, will a $15 gpu give you a good viewport performance to work with?

Yes, you will see the same Octane render result - but it will be a little quicker, and Windows won't lag while you are rendering. Poser's OpenGL viewport might be slower though.

what i meant is that you'll not have a good viewport performance with a too cheap gpu as mentioned above..

I will use my GTX 690 for rendering and view with PCI VGA card for monitor. I just wasn't sure if the viewport render quality would be the same.
