Animated deformers

I have a pretty simple animation with just basic morph influence deformers. How can I get it to render so it doesn't have to update the geometry every frame? Is this possible. My frames take like 5 seconds to render. But like 3 minutes to update the geo... But it will update if I hit the refresh button really quick. But if I drag the slider. Everything but the camera just doesn't move.....

Sounds like something odd is going on. Would it be possible to send me the scene pls? If you turn on Live Geometry Update of the Mesh it should stop it updating each frame - but check
