Lights disappear

Hi!
we're having some trouble with some lights disappearing when changing frames in both IPR and Batch render.
when generating an IPR, all lights are ok but as soon as I change the current frame, some lights disappear (it is often the same lights that turn off).
the same thing happens when batch rendering: first frame ok but the rest of them would have those lights turned off.
we're loading a light rig as a reference file, dunno if that could be the problem, but it is rather strange.
it happens with version 1.55, so we've upgraded to version 2.23.2-7.8 but it only worsens the problem (more of the lights disappear).
any help would be very much appreciated.
