multi-shader / image sequences

hi there
my first post here. just a quick query about mograph multi-shader functionality - from various threads/blogs i have read the multi-shader does not work in octane is this correct ?
because i couldn't get multi-shader working I did set up an animated texture sequence with-in the image-texture node ( using range so it would start at a specific frame ) but this failed at render-time however it would work in the live viewer. is this a known problem ?
thanks !
p

mograph support is very limited due lack of some fundamental of renderer. Also multishader. I can't give any quarantee about output. By at least you can put objecttag to related objects and try with "resend only updated objects" render method.

Hi Aoktar,
The multishader was working (in v2.24.0 R1 at least)
I'm playing around with the alpha build of 3.00 (3.01) and noticed the multishader is not working anymore. Is that planned to be implemented again in 3.00 ? Or did something change in the renderer that this is not possible anymore?

I have a very similar question regarding the mograph color shader. Are the mograph shaders not supported yet in v3 alpha?
Sorry if this was answered elsewhere.

Yes, so disappointed that Multishader doesn't work (2.2.5 R3). First time I have had to go back to C4D renderer

This is the only way to use an animated material and offset it in time with mographs time effector. I hope eventually we can do this.
