HELP Please. How do I reset to defaults?

How do I reset the DS Add-On (or Standalone) to the defaults I started with? I've somehow managed to screw up the daylight environment and now Aiko 6 is all washed out. I tried uninstalling both the stand alone and the add-on, but they still appeared when I started DS, so I'm sure the settings remained. I'm hoping to avoid a total DS re-install.

Thanks.

For the daylight setting, you can't screw up the default. Just create new, and it will be at default. If it looks off, it's something you did to materials. If it's coming back when you reload your scene, it's because you saved a scene (which is the only way to permanently preserve an environment to load with a scene, as far as I am aware). Also, given that the plugin (and of course, the standalone) run entirely independent (as far as the topic you are discussing) of Daz Studio, reinstalling it wouldn't address your issue. Saving at as a scene would also lead to failure to alter the appearance upon reload/reinstall, since the info saved with the scene would be loaded, regardless.

Edit: This presumes, that like the plugin, you cannot alter the actual environment defaults in the standalone. If you have accomplished that in such a way that you have affected the plugin (which I believe has an entirely separate installation of all relevant Octane code), I am both impressed and at a loss. That would be a question for the standalone forums at that point. I'm pretty sure the above addresses your issue though.

Thank you, Sikotik13. You nailed it. I've somehow made a change so that character textures are now loaded a MIX materials instead of DIFFUSE. Very frustrating. Now I just have to figure out how to fix that.

That is a known issue with material conversion of Iray materials in particular. It has been discussed numerous times in the main sticky thread, and I'm unaware of any announcement how things will proceed as far as correcting it. Several suggested workarounds are scattered throughout said thread, as well as one started by I believe linvanchene not too, too long ago regarding this in particular.
