Story:
---------

Getting the opportunity to work in 3d modeling and digital rendering was a tremendous challenge for me.
Besides the lack of direction and infrastructure, there is a traditional outlook towards it in my home country that is not favorable and I wish to change that for future generations.
My submission thus reflects my battle (and that of countless other CG artists) against the circumstances and challenges we face in order to get the opportunity to use technology to bring our visions to reality.

It is a lighthearted submission since I have always used humor to brave the tide ,as I sail through countless storms in the real and CG world.
Feedback is appreciated.

Cheers!
-Nik

P.s
I did not consume Red Bull during production but the idea was tempting. I'd like to imagine that this idea powered all the technology in my submission. :D

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Details of production environment and achievements:

Modeling Workspace
-------------------------------
Small 7/11 foot dorm room cell with 1 computer running GTX 560 with AMD x6 CPU.
Cooling system CPU//GPU- Internal fans
Myself: Pedestal fan and table fan :/

Challenges:
----------------
-Incredible summer heat.
-Compact living conditions.

Technical Achievements
------------------------------------
- Got particle effect to work with Octane showcasing full textures and motionblur. I didn't think this was possible, but thought of a work around.
-This is a large scene with a lot of content, and good optimization and clean modeling meant that the scene did not crash 3ds max and set cards/room on fire.
- Came up with some interesting modeling and texturing techniques for the buildings, vehicles and special effects.

In Toronto, Ontario, Canada for the moment.
But India is my hometown.
And its like living in a sauna in both places over the summer!
