All very basic modelling. I'm not sure I'd employ you based on these.

mybe this is what they looking for, not Zaha Hadid architecture or somthing else
For dvds this is ok
anyway, i would try to use hdri lighting (some interior scene) and i would model some interior shelf and put these dvds on it.
ciao

A box is intrinsically a basic model, you can't do much about it
I would put a slight bevel on the carton box holders, though - they have a too sharp border. Maybe put some some wear, bump variation, subtle dirt or scratches (very subtle) here and there - a uniformly colored object without some texturing stands out too much, IMO.

yup... its supposed to be "very basic modeling", the firm I want to work... aren't interested in models, only in everything else I had done here... making design for new DVDs, making them printable, printing them on all sorts of materials... make new boxes from scratch... and sell them... no use for high detail modeling.
Also to mention that this work was done for about 5 hours from scratch, and mostly all the time I was in photoshop making textures for these models... all Octane time was about 2 min. per picture...

Modeling and texturing seem nice and clean. I also agree you would produce much more vivid product shots if you were using hdri lighting and maybe experimented a bit more with camera angles.

Hope you get a job!
Jos jedan pozdrav is NS-a

I'm just saying that if I were applying for a modelling job then I would submit my best work. Perhaps dvd covers are not the best subject matter to do this. Having said that, you can do a lot with a dvd covers. For example box sets do not have sharp edges, the dvd cover should have softer edges also.
Also you DVD sleeve has very visibly polygons in the cutout.
