Just curious if there are any known issues or concerns with Octane Stand Alone and Poser Plug w/Windows 10.
Thanks.

According to some forums posts at RuntimeDNA PoserPro 2014 runs perfectly fine on Windows 10 .
SInce the OctaneRender plug-ins are integrated, I'm almost certain they should be compatible as well...I could be wrong though...
Was gonna upgrade this afternoon anyways - will let everybody know the results.
EDIT:
Just successfully upgraded from Windows 8.1 Pro (x64) to Windows 10 Pro (x64).
Installed the new Geforce Windows 10 drivers (
http://www.geforce.com/drivers/results/87789 click here for the x64 version, and
http://www.geforce.com/drivers/results/87788 here for the x32 version)
Started PoserPro 2014 - no problems at launch and no problem so far inside the program.
Loaded up the OctaneRender plug-in (v. 2.23.2.55) and started an old scene file - no problems whatsoever.
Seems that PoserPro 2014 and the OctaneRender plug-in are Windows 10 compatible

I guess the real question is , is your system faster?

And how was the installation process? Easy/hard, quick/slow?

I noticed my system to boot up and shut down a tad quicker than with Windows 8.1.
I have no statistical data to back this up though - it is just my subjective experience.
The upgrading was super easy and fast.
You just download the corresponding tool (32 or 64 bit) from this website here:
https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/softwar ... /windows10 and run it.
Afterwards select "Upgrade Now" and the tool automatically downloads all necessary files to a temporay folder in your windows root directory called "$Windows.~BT".
After the download the installation process will be started.
During the installation process you get to select if you want to carry over your apps and personal settings or would rather do a clean install.
On my Surface 3 Pro this took a mere 15 minutes to have a stable system to work with again with all my files and folders at the same place where they were before. I have had no compatibility issues so far.
On my home desktop machine it took about 30 minutes (more data).

Were you meanwhile able to solve your problem?
The last time I got error 999 it was related to having not had enough memory installed at the time and having had several browser windows open next to rendering.
Read: The GPU was too busy doing other stuff so it cancelled rendering...
Did you install the most recent nvidia drivers?
