Octane , Xparticles Team render problem rendering

So I tried network rendering like someone suggested in my other post but it would freeze my cinema4d after a certain period - 500 frames etc. I think this might be due to fluctuating network connections? or that it can't transfer a lot of data through the network.
SOOO I am back to team render.
I have managed to get past my initial hurdles of making it work. Everything works, but when I render using x particles since my team render client starts at 600 it doesn't see any particles but it renders the environment.
If I put an xparticles texture instead of the octane one, it works.
Is there a way to specify the xparticle cache folder to octane? Or something I am missing?
I appreciate any help

Hi,
Please post some images and scenes else just some texts. There is lot of possibilities. Nobody could help without seeing your setups.

well, my main question is why do you think the network render is freezing? there are no errors it just says it is rendering a sample but c4d is frozen

Don't know. I need to see some info. What kind of freeze? There is lot of virtual data on your post, so i can't help. Only thing you can do see client's output when freeze occurs.
Also there is not any relationship with XP cache files and Octane freeze. Client could be crashed due some reasons.

Well right now I am moving my scene into C4d standalone, in order to do batchrendering via network ( my last hope to make network rendering work)
I am wondering if this method supports x particles.
And where is the timeline? to scroll through the animation in the standalone, do I need to add a camera or something in order to be able to see a timeline?

If you have some animation and select render target, it will appear. Plugin can export animations from "Export to Animated Packages(orbx)" command.
But i'm curious about your issue. Can you share your scene with me? I may help better if i look.

Okay thanks, I'll look into exporting orbx files
I tried uploading a scene but it doesn't allow me to upload c4d attachments

The extension c4d is not allowed.
