First frame lighting different....

I tried rendering a sequence over night.

At 4.10 am Cinema 4D came up with an error and crashed...I forget what the error said.... something with a lot of 'xxxxxxxx' in it (Iwill take screen grab next time!). Anyway, I wasn't too bothered this one time as it was only a test render.

What I am bothered about is that when I started rendering again from the frame it stopped at, I found the lighting was different for that one frame and then proceeded to go back to the correct lighting after that. The change was not massive but certainly noticeable.

I've come across this before once but I updated Octane as I was told it would solve the issue. It seems it hasn't.

Any idea what's happening here?

Thanks,
Luke

Hey,
I can't say I've come across this before.
How many frame did it render? I've always found that the frame looks slightly different between WHILE it's rendering and the already rendered frames - isn't anything to do with this is it?
good luck!

Hi Thom,

No it's the first frame of each animation I'm rendering that seems to have an extra light on when compared to all the frames that come after it. I think it may have something to do with the export Octane does of the scene... maybe the 'Faster Rendering/Updates' settings. Will have a play....

Hope all is well!

Luke.
