Hi all !
I've decided to take part in this thrilling new competition !
It's the first time I've entered a competition, and I bet it's gonna be quite an experience to me !!!
I'll post my progress here, and of course all comments are welcome
Cheers to all !
Note: This first image is just a test, i'm gonna add other things around the blender, add texturing too, and maybe change the HDRI, etc...

That ray-traced image is starting to look good. One thing I would suggest is to put a material to that bench the device is one. Other than that, with a bit of post-pro this will look awesome:)

Thanks Sixthlaw!
Indeed I'm going to put the blender in a kitchen environment - I'm currently modelling a cooking woodboard (or whatever it's called in English), a wooden spoon, cutlery, etc.
Many thanks for your comment and support

Hi everyone !
I'm trying to darken the stainless steel parts of the blender so it doesn't look "Aluminium-like" but I don't really know how I could achieve this - if I lower the Specular and darken the grey RGB colour, it makes it feel more like shiny grey plastic...
Anyone could help me with this?
(i.e getting a
Steel material, instead of an Aluminium material)
Many thanks guys

Try this:
Darken the diffuse part and brighten the specular part
