Disappeared object

I have a shaft, that rotating about it's axis during animation (max. speed 2000 rpm). When I try to render a scene with photorealistic motion blur set to "on" the shaft disappearing! LW gives correct results. Any suggestions?

Can you test the scene with the "Objects motion blur steps" parameter set to 4 or more?
