Hi all,
Always look at Octane, always start all my new project with Octane and always finish to meet a problem due to lack of fueatures supported.
This time it's about UDIM or UVTiles.
Does it's support in Octane for Maya?
As Octane Shader don't work with native "place2dTexture", I don't even know how to move and/or read UVs for other space then 0.0.
If I've a model texture in Mari with 10 UDIM texture both diffuse, spec, bump, displace... does it's possible to deal with in Octane?
Please let's me know if I misunderstand something.
Thanks

Doesn't work....

welcome to my world hhahaha...basically you need go in old school way apply a shader by face.

I saw ages a go a script which recognize the tile and apply a shader for each tile. was a mel script I think.

Omg. So much NO Production Ready.
Thanks that Autodesk choose Arnold as native renderer and Corona is coming for Maya.

This will be supported in Octane 3.1, not in 3.0.

You can pan/rot/scale the textures in UV space using a octaneTransform2D and a octaneUVProjection node on your texture.
