When in Tokyo, I wanted the cascades of Neon lights to never end and extend in all directions. So I shot lots of Photos in Shinjuku district of Tokyo and modeled the streets to be endless. The scene then escalated into a Future Version of Tokyo, at the 6-way crossing between Red Light district and Shopping district, with view to the tiny floating park and the business district as well as futuristic transportation concepts. Also, in the future in Tokyo, everybody wears some strange glasses… are those for VR?
I tried to capture the sense of awe when I first saw Tokyo by night with this image…
