Will Octane 3 use OpenSubdiv 3?

Octane 2 (AFAIK) is using OpenSubdiv 2, I was wondering if they will upgrade to the new version with Octane 3.
I'm mostly interested to see if with version 3 problems like this http://goo.gl/7xrn2E won't happen again.
