Can't transform displacement in mix material

I just came across this yesterday. I had a mix material, and I added a displacement texture to it, but it didn't line up with the two textures being mixed because those two textures have UV transforms, so I thought I could UV transform the texture in the displacement, but it didn't do anything. Is this a bug? Running 2.23.2 RC1

your explanation is not clear to me. why don't you post a screenshot or scene?

Sure thing. I'm away from my computer with Octane on it, so i'll upload something later tonight.

In the meantime though, if you just create a mix texture, add a displacement node to it, then try to UV transform the texture you set for the displacement, you should see that adjusting the UV transform controls don't seem to do anything.

If i understood correct, displacement will not work with another texture type else an imagetexture. That's a limitation of displacement. You can see in other topics. It has been discussed many times.

No, sorry that is not what I am talking about. Its applying a UV transform to a displacement node on a mix texture. I'm trying to offset, or move the displacement that I have applied to a mix texture, and it doesn't seem to be working when I adjust the UV transform slider controls.

Ok, please look at this sample scene I made. My textures must be set to Box projection, but when I set the projection for the displacement of the mix material, I can't change the position of it. Try changing the position of the displacement texture in the mix material and you'll see what I mean.

EDIT:
Also just noticing that the invert checkbox is marked, yet the displacement thats showing in the LV is still the same as the preview image of the texture (black area is displacing in, but with the invert checkbox, it should be displacing out).

I think that displacement just supports a transform node connected to image texture. Not projection node. See image. Also don't use 2.23.1. It's buggy vs. 2.23.2(RC4)

Ok, so transforming projection of a texture doesn't work? That sucks for me right now with my project because some of my models (because i'm a terrible modeler) don't display textures properly unless I do a box projection, and some of those textures need to be offset to line up with other textures. Could this be a request in a future release?

Yes, will NOT WORK. That's not a plugin issue, it's related with Octane core. I don't think there is a update for this on version 2.xx. Let's see that what will come with 3.0. There is a long list of new exciting features.
