it is possible that octane will support in future
c4d texture projection - cubic mapping,spherical mapping,flat etc???

i try it in Demo 1.022 x64 ver but nothing.
if i understand well only UV mapping octane support (for now)

Octane uses only UV mapping. That means for now, you have to convert everything to UV coordinates. The export plugin does the conversion as good as possible (using the internal C4D conversion), but of course at singularities and other difficult places that may not be good enough. In those cases you probably have to do some manual corrections.

We can certainly extent Octane to use different texture mappings. The main problem is Octane has no concept of objects and OBJ/MTL supports no other texture mappings than UV mapping. Those kind of things are already on our to-do list, like lots of other things ;)

Cheers,
Marcus

its nice to hear it is in to do list

so I really hope that in future versions will fix that
i playing with demo its amazing fast, stable everything its fine
just that process of texturing is hard way
