This is nice.
The scene is very minimal and there is only few textures so the expectation is that you really sweet the details. for example:
The wood texture transition at the top is distorted a bit, looks like computer generated artifact and not a real one.
It also looks more like it tiled then separate pieces of wood - (like i believe you indented too) - enhance a bit the separation between the wood parts.
Some extra bump could add realizem
The depth of field is too strong for my opinion
Floor is totally flat
etc...

I would want to see some edge grain is well, rather than what looks like a texture that has wrapped over the top.
Also, at this close up, some damage (very small scuffs and scratches) or even some dust on the top.
I'm liking where it's going though.

Thanks for your comments guys, This is an image of a brand new piece of furniture so i dont think the client would be too happy if it had scratches and dents on it.
The wood is a veneer applied to mdf so you would not see any end grain on the top of the door,. the veneer is applied to the top in this fashion to match the wood surround at the top of the cabinet which is applied in a cross grain formation.
the finished veneer is grain filled and french polished to 20% sheen so a bump map is not neccessary in this case.
The floor appears flat as this is a studio shot.

Your wood textures are what I like to call repeat offenders. And boy are they. Yikes. Clients (even non-art-director types) would laugh me out of our meeting if I showed up with this... Repeats should never, ever, be visible, unless under the most close scrutiny of some bastard like me.
What the hell is wrong with you people?! This is not poor material mapping, Its is veneer applied in a staggered pattern .
I have been designing and making furniture for over 10 years, so I do know what I am doing!
I have attached a photo of the actual piece in Rosewood veneer.
My client wanted to see how it wood look in black olive.
