Demo on Mac Pro with NVIDIA GT 120

Hi! I've downloaded the demo of Octane to take for a spin, but haven't been able to get it to work. I'm thinking it's my GFX card. I could try loading it all up on my MacBook Pro (new from last Fall), but figured I'd try to get it up and running on my desktop first. I'm seeing all black and the material previews aren't rendering. I have installed the stand-alone and and using this in C4D R16. My question is, does Octane work on an Early 2009 Mac Pro running the NVIDIA GT120 cards? If not, I'll load it up on my laptop to try it there.

Thanks!

Hi, it's old to support. You'll need a card which can support Cuda 2.0 or higher.

as ahmed said, the GT120 is too old for rendering with octane but is perfect for the monitor and you can add a couple of recent nvidia cards with the help of an external power supply ;)
search in the forum, there are a lot of posts for this kind of configuration ;)
i also have this configuration with my 2009 mac pro since 2011 with no issue ;)
