Hair renders in Live Viewer but not in Picture Viewer

Hey everyone.

I'm using X-Particles trails to generate hair in Octane for Cinema 4D. It looks perfect in the Live Viewer, but when I go to render it in the Picture Viewer, nothing shows up at all. I made sure that the Octane Renderer tab comes after the Hair Render tab in the render settings. I looked all over the internet for suggestions but can't find a way to get this to work. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks!

Hi,
there is a explanation in manual about hair usage. And also some sample scenes to check. That will be enough to figure it.

I am having this same issue and I haven't been able to figure it out based on the manual. It's pretty weak when it comes to explaining what to do. Plus I'm doing something a bit different. I have hair that I have made using a cylinder object that is used as an instance under the generate tab on my hair object. I'm doing it this way because I am going to be having my brush flow through the hair dynamically and I found that the collisions are nicer this way with actual geometry than just adding a collider tag to the hair.

I'm getting a render in my Live viewer but when i render to picture viewer it's blank. I can't seem to figure out what's going on. I'm sorry I can't attach a scene file for privacy purposes but I have pictures of all of my settings. If I missed something you need to see please let me know.

Hi HuttonMiller3D,
weird, I have tried in several way to reproduce your issue without success, and I cannot see nothing strange in your settings
Here is a simpler example scene with instanced hairs, maybe you can find where is your issue
